Premediated crime - Legal language

The newer and horrendous ways of sophisticated crime these days hit the headlines. If you notice, our emotions have familiarized with the usual kind of news like accidents, bank robbery, rapes, shooting at school etc. We have come to a point that it doesn't bother us anymore. In fact, it takes a bigger destruction, more gruesome, loss of lives in large numbers to move our emotions to sympathy. People are finding most bizarre ways to eradicate mankind by destroying lives and leave the places haunted.

The law enforcement department and judiciary system keep introducing variety of expertise, to tackle the 21st century crimes yet the results are not too significant. It's not the law system always to be blamed, the people who value oneself above others stands as a major concern.

In Judiciary system there is this a term called 'Premeditated crime'. This means that a particular individual before a heinous act runs the details of the crime in his mind well in advance and then later at his/her convenient scheduled time, performs the actual crime. So, where did it all begin? In the hidden mind where one keeps his pleasure and priorities at a higher realm and executes at the cost of butchering others rights and lives.

The lonely mind wanders crazily to satisfy one’s desire and later justify as sacred by putting either God, or religion into it. How does one tackle this and also keep the mind sane and hearts pure? We are all aware of the variety of therapies found; like meditation, relaxation, laughter, living in solitude, chanting and many more that promises to deliver from one’s clutches and set the mind free. It does divert the concentration for a little season but does not have the power to deliver completely.

What is needed is a transformation of one’s mind and heart to make it sensitive to the love of God and respect and value others as they love themselves. In the holy scriptures it says “Out of people’s hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immoralities, thefts, murders, adulteries, greed, evil actions, deceit, envy, foolishness, all these evil things come from within and defile a person.”. This means you need a savior who can forgive you and liberate you from all such evils and make you a better citizen, spouse, parent, child, neighbor etc. Prayer is talking to God. He will liberate you and help you for sure.
